WHAT IS LAWBOWL? LawBowl is a fund-raising event where participants • get donations for Teen court to vie for prizes for team, adult and teen that raise the most funds, • bowl in friendly competition for a team high pt. award.
Law firms, attorneys, their staff, City and County agencies, City and County law enforcement, court staff and judiciary, high school students and family and friends are all invited to participate.
WHY SHOULD I PARTICIPATE? You might: • Have fun bowling with peers for a good cause. • Win prizes for being team/adult/teen to raise most donations. • Win a trophy and award for being the high point bowling team! • Win draw prizes! • Win the 50/50 cash jar!
People, ESPECIALLY those in law-related fields, interested in helping youth in our community gain a positive experience out of a negative situation join together to participate in this fun and spirited event.
You don't have to be a skilled bowler -- just an enthusiastic one! Funds generated from this important event allow Teen Court to continue this excellent program.

Be a Team Captain - It's Easy! Organize a group of friends and fellow employees, no more than a total of 5 to a team. Fill out a registration form and submit it with $125 to SBLSA by May 10, 2009. Then encourage your teammates to get donations to vie for great prizes (see the article linked to this page for prizes donated last year). Donations totaling more than $200 put you in the competition for prizes for the team, adult, and youth bringing in the most donations. The entry fee of $125 can be applied toward that $200 minimum. Get a great bunch of bowlers and also vie for the hi-pt. bowling team award!
