WHAT IS LAWBOWL? A HUGE SUCCESS!!!
The Santa Barbara Legal Secretaries Association decided to support Fighting Back's Teen Court after Director, Ed Cue, came to a meeting to talk about the program. Teen Court has to share Fighting Back's budget with many other programs, and therefore can use our help.
JOIN US NEXT YEAR IN APRIL 2009!!
LawBowl is a fund-raising event where participants bowl and compete for prizes based on their ability to obtain pledges. Employees of law firms, City and County agencies, high school students and family and friends were all invited to participate in this first ever event for Teen Court.
WHY SHOULD I PARTICIPATE? (Prizes listed below!!)
People interested in helping youth in our community gain a positive experience out of a negative situation join together to participate in this fun and spirited event. You don't have to be a skilled bowler -- just an enthusiastic one! Funds generated from this important event allow Teen Court to continue this excellent program.
